Yoel (Joel) Asulin • President, CEO
Yoel continues to build a strong millwork shop known for its commitment to quality and professionalism. He joined Design Workshops in 2002 with extensive engineering and project management experience from roles with renowned, high-end custom shops. His deep commitment to his work benefits both client and colleague relationships, contributes to estimating expertise, and helps refine company operations.
As a company principal with 28 years of industry experience, Yoel provides strategic vision and oversight for Design Workshop. He takes great pride in making a positive impact in the millwork industry, exceeding client expectations, and making Design Workshops a truly exceptional place to work.
Tad Beach • Director COO
Tad is in his 42nd year as a woodworker and his 22nd year with Design Workshops, having joined in 2000. He has played many roles while with Design Workshops, but his primary focus has always been on getting projects built, finished, and installed to the best of the company’s abilities. Tad is very proud of his role in trying to make Design Workshops a fulfilling place to work for its 75 employees, and he enjoys his time working with them. He loves the entire process of working out how products are assembled and installed on site. He also enjoys working at a place where everyone really cares about the final outcome.
In the end, his job is to get things built, but his favorite thing to do is sweep up the shop - “a great way for me to think and work out some problem from the day.”
